I am going to concentrate on what's important in life. I'm going to strive everyday to be a kind and generous and loving person. I'm going to keep death right here, so that anytime I even think about getting angry at you or anybody else, I'll see death and I'll rememberDiane Frolov and Andrew Schneider
This memorial website was created to remember our angel Barbara Benefield. She was born to Woodrow and Mary Lou Ward on May 1st, 1944 in Richwood, West Virginia. She was married on June 17th 1961 to Donald C. Benefield.
My grandma fought a long hard battle with cancer and although it was one of the hardest things i've ever had to witness i also seen just how much love she had for each and every one of us, because she fought to hold onto life because she didnt want us to hurt with her leaving. My grandma was an amzing woman who brightened the life of all she touched, she loved spoiling us grandkids till our parents were so upset they didnt know what to do. She also loved to collect Coca Cola memorabilia and Fenton Ware, her dream was to have a coca cola kitchen, and she wanted her pinto to become the butterfly mobile! She loved spending time with my grandpa getting firewood or camping. She also loved halloween and Christmas they were her two favorite holidays and every halloween you never knew what to expect, and on christmas her yard was so lit up you could see it for quite a ways. She's the only person i knew with flying reindeer cows! She was the type of woman who would give you the last nickel she had, or the shirt off her back if it would help you. She never met someone she couldnt love and she proved that by just loving everyone.
Imagine
That the stars above
Are really the souls
Of your loved ones
Keeping watch over
You all through
The night
If tears could build a stairway
If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,
I would walk right up to heaven
And bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say "goodbye"
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knows why.
My heart still aches with sadness,
And secret tears still flow,
What it meant to love you-
No one will ever know.
But now I know you want me
To morn for you no more;
To remember all the happy times,
Life still has much more in store.
Since you will never be forgotten,
I pledge to you today-
A hollowed place in our hearts,
Is where you will always stay.
WHISPERS FROM HEAVEN
When I left this world without you
I know it made you blue.
Your tears fell so freely,
I watched; I know this is true.
While you were weeping,
Days after I passed away-
While all was silent within me,
I saw you kneel to pray.
From this wonderful place called heaven
Where all my pain is gone,
I send a gentle breeze to whisper,
"my loved ones,please go on"
The peace that I have found here
Goes far beyond compare
No rain, no clouds, no suffering-
Just LOVE from everywhere.
You need not be troubled
Just stay close to GOD in prayer
Someday we'll be reunited
My love, HIS love surrounds you always,
EVERYWHERE!
Merry Christmas From Heaven
I still hearthe songs I still see the lights I still feel your love on cold, wintery nights
I still share your hopes and all of your cares I'll even remind you to please say your prayers
I just want to tell you you still make me proud you stand head and shoulders above the crowd
Keep trying teach moment to stay in his grace I came here before you to help set your place
You don't have to be perfect all of the time he forgives you the slip If you continue the climb
To my family and friends please be thankful today I'm still close beside you In a new special way
I love you all dearly now don't shed a tear Cause i'm spending my Christmas with Jesus this year
